Cusco Hotel / Cusco Tours / Machu Picchu Tour
In the morning at 05:20 am, your private driver will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and accompany you to the train station in Ollantaytambo where your train departs at 07:20 am, this spectacular train journey lasts one hour And half to the town of Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, your guide will receive you with a sign with his name written on it, then board the tourist bus that climbs to the citadel for about 20 minutes, then begin your tour through the magical citadel of Machu Picchu, known as “The City Lost of the Incas “, one of the best known examples of Inca architecture. You will visit notable temples such as the Temple of the Sun and the Temple of the Condor. You will also visit Inca houses and the most important royal enclosures and aqueducts. This guided tour lasts 2 hours, then you will have free time to explore the citadel on your own.
After the visit, you must return to Aguas Calientes to take the train back to Cusco departing at 19:00 hrs, it is necessary to be half an hour before the departure time of your train. Once you have arrived at Ollantaytambo station your private driver will be waiting for you and then transfer you to your hotel in Cusco where they will be arriving at approximately 10:30 pm.
